Dr. Sharma is the founder and primary manager of Third Eye Capital Management. Born in 1964 in Indore, India, Dr. Sharma consistently excelled academically and received a doctorate in medicine (M.D.) graduating as Valedictorian. He subsequently did his residency in Anesthesiology and pursued his fellowship training in Pain Management at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he was the top graduating fellow. He founded Spine & Pain Centers of New Jersey and New York in 1996, specializing in minimally invasive techniques to treat spinal disorders. He has been on the faculty of several National and International spinal meetings and has taught, written and published articles on the topics of spinal care and procedures. Dr. Sharma has been consistently rated as a top physician in the New York metro area by New Jersey Monthly and Castle Connolly for last several years.

Clearly passionate and curious about Stock markets and trading, Dr. Sharma started learning and experimenting with various trading strategies since he was 16 years old. With experience and trying different approaches, Dr. Sharma came to the conclusion that trading in indexes and ETF’s and combining them with options, he was able to generate much higher alpha than active trading. Then he started a proprietary trading account at E-trade. After successful testing and having great returns over 7 years, he started the hedge fund, “Third Eye Capital LP.”
